How it works

The rules of the wild

Biome takes no fee. Everything below is enforced by Biome's keeper, which holds each biome's treasury and records every snapshot and payout; every payout is an ordinary on-chain transfer tagged with a memo.

Biomes

A biome is a launchpad anyone can deploy. You pick an @handle, a name, one of seven styles and an accent colour; the biome's page, its coin pages and its launch page all wear that look.

A biome is born with its first coin, in a single transaction the deployer signs. After that, anyone can launch more coins into it. The deployer can change the look and links later by signing a message (no gas); the handle is permanent.

Coins

Every coin is a standard StonkFun launch on Raydium LaunchLab against SOL, built to StonkFun's published recipe and checked against StonkFun's live platform accounts before anything is signed. Coins trade on StonkFun, and anywhere that routes to the pool.

The one difference: the pool's creator is the biome's treasury, a wallet Biome holds for the biome, not the person launching the coin. So the creator share of every trade on every coin in the biome lands in one place.

Sharing the fees

Every 10 minutes, Biome reads every holder of every coin in each biome and values their holdings in dollars at the coin's current price. A wallet's value is summed across all the biome's coins, so $100 of one coin counts exactly like $100 spread over five.

Every 60 minutes, the treasury's balance (less what it already owes and a 0.002 SOL rent buffer) is split between holders in proportion to their average value across that hour's snapshots. Holding all hour earns a full share; buying a minute before the payout earns a sliver.

Holdings under $1 across a biome don't count. Only ordinary wallets count: pool vaults and other program-owned accounts (and the treasury itself) are left out. Payouts are sent automatically once a wallet is owed at least 0.001 SOL from a biome; smaller amounts keep accruing until they get there. Biome pays the network fees.

Styles

  • Spore Biome's own: bioluminescent on deep moss.
  • Clean White, airy, nothing in the way.
  • Sticker Thick ink, hard shadows, cream paper.
  • Bubbly Soft clay, pastel, squishy corners.
  • Arcade Pixels, scanlines and insert-coin energy.
  • Vapor Sunset gradients and chrome type.
  • Terminal Phosphor green on black, all mono.

Programs

Memecoins are extremely risky and most go to zero. Fee sharing depends entirely on trading volume and is never guaranteed. Biome holds each treasury's key on its server: it is custodial. Deploy a biome
